Top pick: #6 (BLUESKIESNRAINBOWS) (5-2) - He really came into his own last year and banked almost $400K during 2013. Speed/stalker has been freshened up since Feb. 8 and 5-year-old has beaten better than this in the past. Working well and he's the horse to beat.
2nd pick: #1 (Tiz Dynamic) (9-2) - In career best form at present, speed/stalker was a sharp winner here going 9-furlongs on March 2nd and that ran his local record to 6-4-1-0. Has the rail, Bejarano stays aboard, and gelding by "Tiznow" should be involved every step. Win candidate.
3rd pick: #4 (Segway) (7-2) - Lightly-raced and well-bred, he's the type that can "run all day" and trainer Rick Mandella will try him on conventional dirt for the first time.
4th pick: #3 (American Blend) (6-1) - He enters off a very poor performance here in the "Santa Anita Hdcp." (G1) on March 8th and should find this group much easier. Working nicely and his best puts him in this.
