Bet this race at Diamond SportsTop pick: #9 (KATSAROS) (5-2) - A $210,000 filly by 'Curlin' she's taking a big drop in class while trainer John Sadler has her racing on the dirt for the first time. Even paced on the grass facing tougher, she has a nice series of local works on view, draws a fine outside post at this trip, and I like her chances.
2nd pick: #5 (Buyback) (7-2) - Speedy sort has been competitive in all three starts, each sprinting on the dirt facing a bit better. Home bred 4yo by 'Mucho Macho Man' should be involved every step and is a win candidate.
3rd pick: #3 (Chirp) (8-1) - Longshot has been freshened up since finishing an even fourth here at this tag going 6 furlongs Nov. 3. She's worked a half-dozen times since for the capable Lenny Powell and think she'll factor at a square price.
4th pick: #6 (Info's Treasure) (12-1) - Longshot has no early speed, but has finished within range in two of her last four starts, all at this $20K tag. A fast/and or contested pace could land her a share at a very big price.
