Top pick: #8 (SWITCH) - She's the probable favorite and draws a great post at this trip. She exits a win on this surface at this distance in the G1 "La Brea" and is working fast since. Very talented and the horse to beat.
2nd pick: #2 (Mother Ruth) - Hard-hitter always come with her best and is a proven stakes performer on conventional dirt. In fine form at present and she has an extremely fast "bullet" drill for this. Win candidate is one of two entered by the Baffert barn and they'll race uncoupled.
3rd pick: #6 (Quisiana) - She finished an even third here last out to "Ruth" in her first start back off a 10 month break. Race was her first ever on real dirt and proved that she can handle the surface. Should improve second back but would need a career best for any shot at the top slot.
