Top pick: #7 (IOTAPA) (2-1) - Tremendous claim by trainer John Sadler, filly has gone 7-3-3-1 since he took her for $50K last June at Hollywood Ppark. Four-year-old likes this surface 4-2-2-0 and comes off a win here in the G2 "Santa Monica" going 8.5-furlongs on Feb. 15. Working fast since and gets the call in a strong field.
2nd pick: #1 (Fiftyshadesofhay) (5-2) - Classy daughter of "Pulpit" has a fine record on real dirt 10-3-4-3 and has gone 6-1-2-2 on this surface. She's the only entrant with a win at this 9-furlong trip and that came when she won last year's G2 "Black Eyed Susan" at Pimlico. Win candidate.
3rd pick: #4 (Miss Serendipity) (6-1) - Argentine import has talent and speed and has a fine slate on conventional dirt 13-5-4-1. Mare can be involved from start-to-finish at a square price.
4th pick: #5 (Let Faith Arise) (4-1) - Lightly-raced and in career best shape, she ran second last out to "Iotapa" and clearly prefers conventional dirt. Don't just dismiss.
