Bet this race at Diamond SportsTop pick: #4 (NADAL) (8-5) - One of two entered by Bob Baffert, this $700,000 son of 'Blame' was an impressive debut winner here at 6.5 furlongs Jan. 19. Reported to be fast, he was bet down to 6-5, and was a gate-to-wire winner by almost four lengths. He worked fast Feb. 4 and gets top billing in this contest.
2nd pick: #6 (Ginobili) (8-1) - Longshot has been on the sidelines since early October. The colt has shown ability, is working fast, draws well, and may be competitive at a square price.
3rd pick: #2 (Ra'ad) (8-1) - The second of the Baffert pair, he broke his maiden at Los Alamitos going six furlongs Dec. 7 in his second attempt. He's proven that he can pass under runners and is a stretch threat.
4th pick: #5 (Storm the Court) (9-5) - Last year's 2yo champ has been idle since winning the Breeders' Cup Juvenile (G1) going 8.5 furlongs here Nov. 1. Training both steadily and above average for his 3yo debut, he may not be cranked up 100%, and I think he may over-bet in this spot.
