Top pick: #5 (CHICK FLICK) - Daughter of "Tapit" finished an even fourth when debuting at Del Mar on Sept. 3 and she "hopped" at the start that afternoon. Working steadily for the patient barn of Rick Mandella and she can break her maiden with an alert getaway.
2nd pick: #6 (Mi Vida) - Price play chased while wide in a grass race on Oct. 16 and this filly appears to be nearing her best. Trainer Eric Guillot moves her back to the dirt, and she raced evenly in a pair on the Saratoga main-track this past summer. Win candidate.
3rd pick: #1 (Love My Way) - The main speed, she finished third in a pair of starts at Del Mar this past summer, filly runs off a two month break, has blinkers removed, and draws the rail for her first on real dirt. Her speed must be respected.
