Top pick: #2 (SUPER HARMONY) - Has the best early speed of this group, and veteran has run well on conventional dirt in the past. Draws a good post and should be able to get to the rail right after the start and he'll be very tough if left alone on the front-end. The horse to beat in a competitive contest.
2nd pick: #8 (Skellytown) - Already has a win on this surface and this hard-hitting eight-year-old gelding races for a good barn and until recently had been facing tougher. Draws a tough outside post, but he's in shape and you already know that he likes this surface. A win candidate if he avoids a wide trip.
3rd pick: #5 (Waive Liability) - Races for only the second time since late July, and this gelding finished second at this level going 7 furlongs at Hollywood Park Nov. 28. Home-bred has plenty of back class, and has enough speed to stay close early and have a shot down the stretch.
