Top pick: #3 (SOUTHERN SUNSHINE) (4-1) - Speedy filly chased and held to finish second to a "much the best" winner here on June 1. Nice effort came second off a 7 1/2 month layoff, and she's worked twice since.
2nd pick: #5 (Miss Super Quick) (3-1) - Lightly raced and well-bred, she's been freshened up since April 27 when she finished third here at this level on the grass. Daughter of "Rock Hard Ten" is working nicely and is a win candidate.
3rd pick: #1 (Summerofsixtythree) (7-2) - One of six fillies making their debuts, and she's one of two entered by trainer Tom Proctor. Working fast locally, daughter of "Malibu Moon" has the rail and is a big threat with a "clean" break from her rail post.
4th pick: #8 (Barb's Angel) (4-1) - The other filly from trainer Tom Proctor, she has some solid works on her tab, and Gary Stevens (28% riding for Proctor) is signed on. Don't just dismiss.
