Top pick: #6 (JUST DANCING) (8-5) - Lightly-raced mare was claimed for $20K by trainer Mike Mitchell on Jan. 3 and returned two weeks later at the purchase price to break her maiden in easy fashion going 8.5-furlongs. Freshened up since, grey daughter of "Giacomo" is working nicely and has plenty of room for upside. The horse to beat.
2nd pick: #4 (Incredible Journey) (5-2) - Dangerous filly goes turf to dirt after checking in third of eight, beaten two lengths racing here at this distance on the grass Feb. 6. She's been competitive on the dirt in the past and wil have blinkers added in her third back from a long layoff (seven months). Strong win candidate.
3rd pick: #2 (I'm No Patsy) (7-2) - Reddam home-bred was an impressive maiden winner here over a small field (5) going 7-furlongs Dec. 27. She tired while having some traffic issues facing tougher Jan. 19 in her first facing winners and has been freshened up since. Drops, stretches out, and her early speed makes her a threat.
