Top pick: #3 (TURN ON THE BRITES) (7-2) - He's finished second in his last pair and has a fine overall local record of (4-1-2-0). One-run type has a different rider after being very wide recently, and there's plenty of potential pace signed on to help him win this down the stretch.
2nd pick: #2 (Cinco de Mario) (9-5) - He has "figures" that are better than these, but they've been earned on both grass and "poly." Drops down, blinkers go on, he's an obvious win candidate if he handles the dirt.
3rd pick: #6 (Congregationalist) (4-1) - Gelding moves from the rail to the outside, goes "poly" to dirt, and has blinkers on for the first time. Five-year-old has finished third in four of six on this surface and it's nice to see Bejarano back on the re-ride.
4th pick: #5 (Lucky Cotton) (5-1) - Lightly raced, he ran a close up fourth last out on the Hollywood grass in his best overall since June. Working well and a factor at a square price.
