Bet this race at Diamond SportsTop pick: #7 (MY PI ROMANCER) (2-1) - Freshened up since Nov. 17th, filly had some traffic issues while finishing a close up 2nd that afternoon at Del Mar. That was her grass debut following a pair of good efforts sprinting on the dirt. Working fast, and she'll be tough in this spot.
2nd pick: #3 (Radish) (10-1) - One of two Reddam owned fillies, and they have different trainers. This daughter of 'Square Eddie' has some early speed, is stretching out in distance, and racing on the grass both for the first time. She should be in this from start-to-finish at a big price.
3rd pick: #2 (Ocean Dream) (20-1) - The other Reddam filly is also by 'Square Eddie.' She showed nothing in a $100K stakes on the Los Alamitos dirt Dec. 17th and moves back in with maidens while switching back to the turf. May grab a share at a very big price.
4th pick: #10 (Table for Three) (6-1) - Trainer Phil D'Amato moves her to the grass and stretches her out in distance in her second attempt. Filly raced both wide and evenly in her debut sprinting on the Lo Alamitos dirt Dec. 10th. Only a 'neck' behind 'Radish' that afternoon, she must avoid a wide trip from her outside post.
