Top pick: #4 (PRIME ISSUE) (3-1) - Trainer Bob Diodoro has had an outstanding meet and has won twice this week with runners racing first off a claim. This speed/stalker ships down from Golden Gate Fields where he missed by a "head" sprinting there for a $16K tag on March 7. Diodoro has worked him three times since, switches him to the main-track, and stretches him out in distance.
2nd pick: #6 (Muchos Besos) (2-1) - Veteran gelding likes it on this main-track (11-3-2-2) and has back class to call upon. He ran evenly here sprinting for a $16K tag on March 22. Claimed that day by Art Sherman, he brings him back quickly, moves him up a bit in value, and stretches him out to a mile. Capable (3-1-1-1) at this distance and a win candidate.
3rd pick: #3 (Bluegrass Reward) (5-2) - He moves from turf to dirt after a solid third place finish going a mile on the local grass on April 3. His record on dirt is 12-3-4-4 and locally he's 8-2-2-0. In great shape at present and must be left in the mix.
