Trout always has a high winning percentage from his small quality barn and this filly worked a quick five furlongs Sept. 15. Can win right back.
2nd pick: #2 (Evil Ways) (3-1) - Another who won easily here first time out, grey Texas bred scored by five lengths at odds of 19-1 at this trip Sept. 8. She set a fast and contested pace before easily drawing away during the stretch run. Bred/owned/trained by Bart Evans, filly breezed a quick half-mile Sept. 23.
3rd pick: #3 (Secret Passion) (4-1) - She ships back from Kentucky Downs where she tired in a $350,000 stakes going 7 furlongs on the turf Sept. 6. She had won two in a row on the Prairie Meadows dirt prior to that including a win in a $65K stakes at this distance July 27. Speed/stalker must be left in the mix.
4th pick: #4 (Ms Classic West) (6-1) - Texas bred went 3-1-2-0 at Lone Star Park earlier this year before tiring in her local debut at this level Sep 13. Stalker had a tough outside post that day and should be in this with today's better draw.
