Bet this race at Diamond SportsTop pick: #1 (COLMS LADY) (2-1) - One of two entered by trainer Steve Asmussen and the pair race uncoupled. $100,000 daughter of 'Uncle Mo' raced evenly when finishing third here at this level going 6 furlongs Oct. 12. Nice debut and barn stretches her out in distance and she draws the rail. Asmussen wins at a 19% rate second time out and at an 18% clip when stretching runners out.
2nd pick: #6 (My Holiday) (8-1) - Grey filly finished a pace-setting second here at this level and distance Oct. 5. Trainer Ray Ashford moved her to the grass here Oct. 25 but filly tired badly while wide. He brings her back in 16 days and has her back on the dirt. Contends today.
3rd pick: #9 (Two Sips) (9-2) - The second of the Asmussen trained fillies, home bred raced evenly when debuting at this distance in an 'off the turf' contest at Ellis Park July 23. Given a six week break, she tired late on the grass there Sept. 4. A threat if able to avoid a wide trip from her outside post.
4th pick: #4 (Costa DelSol) (12-1) - Longshot raced wide and evenly when debuting here going six furlongs Oct. 12. She was 14 lengths in back of 'Colm's Lady' that evening, but is from a top stable (Bret Calhoun) and should improve second time out. Can grab a share at a big price.
