Top pick: #3 (LIGHT STRIKER) (7-5) - She's finished second in two straight sprints here at this level after coming off almost an eight month layoff on Sept. 1. Great barn (Bret Calhoun) stretches her out in distance and she's the horse to beat.
2nd pick: #2 (Proud Annie) (5-2) - Freshened up since late August, filly has early speed and is breaking just off the rail. Working fast for her return and Okie-bred should be involved from start-to-finish.
3rd pick: #8 (Status) (9-2) - Lightly raced daughter of "Big Brown" stretches out after tiring last out to finish 7 1/2 lengths back of "Light Striker." It was her first in seven weeks and first off a Steve Asmussen claim. Dangerous this evening.
4th pick: #7 (F C Getright) (6-1) - She rallied to finish a distant third when debuting at Lone Star Park going 6.5-furlongs on July 12th. Freshened up since, she's working fine locally and should factor in this spot.
