Top pick: #6 (LOOKOUT LADY) (5-2) - Home-bred by "Smart Strike" ships from Pimlico where she raced evenly in a grass race at this level April 26. It was her first start in 2 1/2 months and trainer Graham Motion brings her back quickly, adds blinkers (22%), and switches her to a synthetic for the first time.
2nd pick: #4 (Kitten's Approach) (2-1) - Augustin bred filly by "Kitten's Joy" rallied to finish third of nine, beaten just over five lengths on the Tampa turf April 4. Nice effort showed a lot of improvement over her debut, and she's worked well on this surface since coming north. Win candidate.
3rd pick: #3 (Slew's Golden Rule) (4-1) - She has more experience than the top two picks and comes off a career best on the Churchill turf on May 9. Daughter of "Langfuhr" has early speed and is very dangerous on the front-end this evening in what is a three-horse race on paper.
