Bet this race at Diamond SportsTop pick: #1 (READY IN WAITING) (3-1) - One of a pair of first-time-starters from the Asmussen barn, she's been training fast right along and enters off of a six-furlong gate work here in 1:13 flat on a wet surface March 31. She draws a tricky rail post, but can win this with an alert beginning.
2nd pick: #2 (Inshannity) (2-1) - California invader makes her first start and is in the barn of Hall of Fame member Bob Baffert. One of the best with debuting runners, he's won at a 29% rate since Jan. 1 of 2019 with them. Working fast at Santa Anita, this filly is an obvious win candidate.
3rd pick: #8 (Offering) (4-1) - The second of the Asmussen fillies, and like her barn-mate, she's making her first start. 4yo home-bred by 'Distorted Humor' worked a bullet five furlongs from the Gate at The Fair Grounds and is dangerous if that time can be reproduced under race conditions.
4th pick: #4 (Lil Miss Moppet) (10-1) - 4yo tired after chasing the pace debuting in a grass sprint at Santa Anita March 7. Trainer Peter Miller, 26% second time out, switches her to the dirt, and she must be left in the mix.
