Top pick: #7 (BREATH) (5-1) - Grey mare ships in from Keeneland where she finished an even fourth in a starter-allowance Oct. 9. Five-year-old has kept better company most of her career, has won on conventional dirt in the past, and is racing third off a almost a 10-week break. Daughter of "After Market" gets the call in a tough race.
nd pick: #5 (My Miss Mary) (6-1) - She's been freshened up since early August and mare is moving from grass to dirt. All of her success 11-3-2-4 has come on the main track and 5-year-old has a fine local record 5-2-2-0. Working well and a strong win candidate.
rd pick: #1 (Just Keep Driving) (12-1) - No-speed type ships in from Fort Erie where won on the dirt going 6.5-furlongs July 29th. Three-year-old has won here in the past and would benefit if the pace doesn't hold.
th pick: #4 (Courtly Flyer) (3-1) - Veteran mare comes in from Churchill Downs where she tired going a mile for a $20K tag Sept. 28. She's two for three here, has more tactical speed than most entered, and must be left in the mix.
th pick: #9 (Miss Benburb) (9-2) - She enters this in sharp form but all of her success has come racing on turf. That said, strong finisher retains Pilares and this filly can factor at a square price
