Top pick: #3 (COLLATERAL) (3-1) - Filly has the best early speed of those that have started and she's working sharply for her first since Oct. 10. Trainer Troy Taylor drops her to a new low and daughter of "Colonel John" is the horse to beat.
2nd pick: #4 (Clem Juice) (7-2) - She was bet down to favoritism when debuting at Del Mar for a $50K tag on Nov. 20. Filly pressed the pace while racing between horses and tired late to finish third. Trainer Paul Aguirre drops her in class, switches her from "poly" to dirt, and she's a win candidate in this spot.
3rd pick: #9 (Caymus Kat) (4-1) - Well backed in both starts filly has raced evenly in each while facing tougher. Trainer Tom Proctor drops her in class and has her making back-to-back starts for the first time. Stretch threat.
4th pick: #8 (Don't Tell Abbey) (20-1) - Longshot has tired in all four starts and has been freshened up since Sept. 19. Bred/owned/and trained by Mike Harrington, he has her working steadily locally and think she'll be competitive at a big price.
