Top pick: #10 (SABE) - Grey gelding has the best early spped of this group and will switch back to a synthetic surface and stretch-out in distance for the first time. He tired last out at Santa Anita after being involved in a pace fight on a muddy surface a month ago and moves out in the gate today which should lead to a less stressful trip.
2nd pick: #4 (William Wallace) - He ran evenly facing slightly tougher when debuting going 7 furlongs at Santa Anita On Oct. 6. Working nicely for his first off a two month rest, trainer Eric Kruljac will drop him down a bit in price, stretch him out in distance, and switch him over to a "poly" surface.
3rd pick: #5 (Trucial State) - He hasn't shown much in either start, but they've come facing tougher special weight competition. Trainer Eoin Harty drops him into a claimer for the first time and moves him from the grass back onto a "poly" this afternoon.
