On the sidelines for 3 1/2 months he's working fast on this surface and the hot barn of Mike Puype will drop him into a claimer this afternoon. Much the horse to beat.
2nd pick: #3 (Tapfortexas) - Also had a poor start last out and did so from a difficult outside post. Race was his first in 2 1/2 months and his barn will drop him into a claimer, add blinkers, and shorten him up in distance. Win candidate.
3rd pick: #1a (Warren's Tiger) - Races off a two-month break and is working fast for his return. Has a good post, some early speed, and will be racing on a synthetic surface for the first time. Should contend in this spot.
