Premium Pick
(# 5) Rutledge Cat - Three year-old son of Tale of the Cat, has shown ability on dirt, polytrack and turf in his career. Trained by H. Graham Motion, horse has run in some big fields and encountered and overcome trouble in several of his races. Has improved with distance racing and has two very sharp works at Palm Meadows training center leading into this allowance, as trainers are starting to see what their three year-olds are made out of. Colt has a close range tracking gear which will prove helpful.

(# 3) High Act - Stronach stable colt started career at Woodbine running fine second at six furlongs from wide post. Shipped to Florida by trainer Bryan Lynch. Colt promptly broke maiden when lasix was added in seven furlong event. Working well, also at Palm Meadows, he makes initial attempt around two turns.

(# 6) Brisco and Logan - Impressive maiden winner at Calder (place horse crushed maidens at Tampa in next start), trainer Bob Barbara names Johnny V. today and colt at this stage could prove to be any kind. Appears to be a up-and-comer.

(# 2) Roman's Run - Broke maiden around two turns over Turfway's Polytrack. Working very quickly, first at Churchill training center now at Palm Meadows. Dale Romans knows how prepare them for seasonal debuts.
