Was a bit farther back than the connections wanted, rallied wide after saving ground, took the lead in mid-stretch but super performance by Horse of the Year Invasor, was too much for him late. Draws the wood today and with a clean getaway can save ground and go after Corinthian, on the far turn.

(# 3) Corinthian - Very impressive return to the races on Feb. 8 after six months away. Set legitimate fractions and ran away from Belmont winner Jazil, in powerful performance. He is an obvious "bounce" candidate, but he always had big ability and there is not a lot of pace on view here. If allowed to settle into first turn may be tough to get by. Think Zito will try to use no. 2 Noble Causeway, to soften him up a bit for Hesanoldsalt.
