Top pick: #5 (MIDNIGHT NOTES) (3-1) - Colt rallied to finish second of 11, beaten just over a length when racing here for a $20K tag on Jan. 26. It was his first off a two month break and trainer Jane Cibelli drops him to a new low this afternoon. The horse to beat.
2nd pick: #2 (Target Sighted) (4-1) - Veteran was a winner here at this tag on Dec. 14, but has not been competitive in his last pair when facing tougher. Drops back down today, and Joe Rocco Jr., who was aboard for his last win is back aloft. Win candidate.
3rd pick: #6 (Start Up) (8-1) - Speedy colt drops back down after an even and troubled effort last out on Feb. 12 for a $20K tag. He's finished second in both previous starts at this $16K price and he should be involved from start-to-finish.
4th pick: #1 (Gibson County Line) (8-1) - He has early speed and some back class as he runs first off a claim here on Jan. 4. Has the rail, a sharp local work on Feb. 11, and runs in the name of asst. trainer Gamalie Vazquez while Kirk Ziadie is serving another suspension. Don't just dismiss.
