2nd pick: #1 (Garlic) (3-1) - The morning line favorite, mare drops back down following a pair of even efforts when facing tougher. Strong finisher missed by a 'nose' here at this tag and trip Dec. 16 and she draws a ground saving post. A major player in tonight's finale.
3rd pick: #4 (Pride and Goia) (8-1) - Longshot stretches out a bit in distance following a distant second place finish going seven furlongs Jan. 26. Consistent sort has been within range of 'Garlic' the last two times they've met and can factor at a square price.
