Bet this race at Diamond SportsTop pick: #6 (THAT'S A YANKEE) (3-1) - Gelding drops back down after a pace-chasing third place finish here at this distance facing tougher Dec. 20. A career best, it was his first back off just under a two month break. He gets a slight edge.
2nd pick: #7 (Alpha Bravo) (4-1) - He's shown virtually nothing in three starts, but his figures in his last pair are the best of this group. No-speed type should factor from off the pace against a sub par looking field.
3rd pick: #3 (Jimjeff) (8-1) - On the sidelines since Nov. 18, he's moving up in class and does so for a new trainer Sarah Delaney (25%) with new arrivals. Working steadily here, barn is adding blinkers. Think this one is a 'live' longshot.
4th pick: #8 (Aces Full) (5-1) - Away from action for 11 months, gelding will be racing in a claimer for the first time. Competitive in the past facing tougher, one-run type is a major threat if ready.
