Bet this race at Diamond SportsTop pick: #4 (SWANKY) (5-2) - Well backed when debuting here at this level and distance in the mud Oct. 27, she set a pressured pace and held down to show spot while tiring. Working well at Evangeline Downs for this attempt, she breaks just off the rail and will be tough with normal second out improvement.
2nd pick: #10 (My Royalty) (4-1) - Daughter of 'Street Sense' ships from Kentucky where she tired in both attempts during the late summer. She ran a half-mile in under :46 Aug. 12 at Ellis Park and she should have grown and matured a bit in her first race in three months.
3rd pick: #7 (Drama Specialist) (10-1) - Blinkers go on daughter of 'Big Drama' who tired badly when debuting Nov. 24 at the Fair Grounds. In a winning barn (Scott Gelner), longshot races with blinkers on and is a threat at a big price.
4th pick: #2 (Light Up the Devil) (6-1) - Texas bred ships from Retama Park where she finished a pace-chasing second at this level going 6 furlongs on a sloppy track Sept. 29. She worked a bullet 3 furlongs there before heading here and is in the mix if she doesn't scratch.
