Top pick: #1 (MYTIGERSNOISSY) - Gelding just failed to last a year ago on this surface when making his debut and hasn't seen live action since. Working nicely at San Luis Rey Downs for a good long layoff barn (Pete Miller 24%) and he'll drop by for more than half in his return. The horse to beat.
2nd pick: #8 (Single Shot) - The probable favorite has finished second in both his starts and they came 2 1/2 months apart, one at Golden Gate and the latest at Hollywood. In a good barn (Jeff Bonde) and he's an obvious win candidate.
3rd pick: #10 (Obsess ) - Gelding chased a fast pace before tiring in his debut and that came facing much tougher special weight competition. Drops and he has a trio of nice drills since that initial run. Contender.
4th pick: #4 (Self Defense ) - Longshot has some closing kick and comes into this off a pair of even efforts at this level. Can reach the same race exotics at a nice price.
