Top pick: #1 (NIGHTTIMING) (2-1) - Well bred filly tackles winners for the first time. Daughter of "Pioneer of the Nile" looked sharp in her maiden win on the Santa Anita turf at this trip Oct. 17th. Working nicely, she draws the rail and can take another.
2nd pick: #4 (Cravin the Heat) (5-1) - Speedy sort raced evenly on the dirt last out at Santa Anita and was claimed by Bill Spawr for $25K. New barn moves her up in class and moves her back to the grass. Can factor at a square price.
3rd pick: #8 (Enduring Erin) (7-2) - Filly rallied to miss by a less than a length racing at this level and distance on the Santa Anita turf Nov. 2nd. She almost always puts in a late charge and must be left in the mix.
4th pick: #7 (Lethal Story) (4-1) - No speed type has improved of late, and last out rallied from far back to finish third only a "neck" back of "Enduring Erin." Her lack of any gate speed is a problem, and she'll need a fast and/or contested pace for anything more than a small slice of this.
