Trainer Tom Proctor has worked her four times since and moves her from turf to "poly" The top pick.
2nd pick: #2 (Iconic Spirit) (2-1) - Longtime maiden has gone 13-0-5-2 overall and is 4-0-2-0 racing on synthetic surfaces. One-run type finished second here at this level and trip July 30th and is an obvious contender with Bejarano back on the re-ride.
3rd pick: #5 (Best Efforts) (6-1) - She raced evenly when debuting in a dirt sprint at this level on June 1st at Santa Anita. Working fine for this and trainer John Sadler will switch her to a synthetic surface and stretch her out in distance.
4th pick: #7 (Teemeku) (4-1) - Daughter of "Unusual Heat" rallied after a slow start to finish fourth when debuting here going 6.5-furlongs on Aug. 3. She's worked since, keeps Talamo aboard, and may grab a share with a stretch run.
