Top pick: #6 (FAITH PROOF) (5-2) - She was an impressive maiden winner here July 31st when going 5.5-furlongs for a $20K tag. It was her first start since debuting at Santa Anita on Jan. 5 and was claimed that day by Tim Yakteen. She's worked very fast since and is nicely spotted in her first facing winners.
2nd pick: #7 (Hanna No Sir) (3-1) - Florida-bred has been sharp in all her starts (4-1-2-1) and she brings some high early speed to the contest. Filly drops down in class and draws a nice outside post at this distance. Win candidate.
3rd pick: #5 (Eddies Curl) (4-1) - Reddam owned filly finished a strong third at Los Alamitos facing tougher on July 6th in her first start since last Nov. Stalker likes synthetic surface (5-1-2-1), drops in class, and has blinkers on. Dangerous.
4th pick: #2 (Josephine's Moment) (8-1) - Daughter of "City Zip" finished a solid second two back at this level on the dirt, then tired after chasing a fast pace here on the grass last out. In shape and price play should get a fast and/or contested pace to track.
