Top pick: #3 (GETAWAY KEYS) (5-2) - Filly has finished second in two straight on the dirt at this level and distance. Lightly-raced, improving, and in a winning barn (Pete Miller), she worked here just five days ago and is the likely winner if she handles the all-weather surface.
nd pick: #1 (Ipolita) (3-1) - Daughter of "Tribal Rule" has been freshened up since a third-place finish at this tag and trip on the Santa Anita dirt June 14th. Has the rail, early speed, and Talamo stays aboard.
rd pick: #4 (Mudge) (5-1) - Following a second-place finish in her debut at Santa Anita last Oct., this filly has been tiring readily in all her starts since than. Freshened up since Jan. 19 trainer Steve Miyadi has her working very fast locally for her return.
th pick: #11 (Diamante Mobile) (8-1) - A solid small barn (Jose Avalos) ships her here after home bred ran an even fourth when debuting at the trainer's homebase of Los Alamitos on July 11th. Filly continues to do fine a.m. work and can factor at a square price.
th pick: #9 (Ball Park Lady) (20-1) - Longshot comes off a career best at Los Alamitos on July 4th and has since come back with a pair of sharp local works. Don't just dismiss at a very big price.
