Top pick: #5 (SWISS CHARM) - Lightly raced and improving, she finished 3rd last out at this level in her first ever on the turf. Effort came 2nd off a three month break and daughter of Swiss Yodeler has worked three tims since Aug. 17. Looks set for her maiden win.
2nd pick: #7 (Evasive Charmer) - Speedy filly by Atticus just missed last out at this level going 6 furlongs August 26. Trainer Ed Moger Jr. will move her to the infield and stretch her out in distance, both for the first time. I almost put her on top.
3rd pick: #1 (Alala) - She's run well in 4 of her 5 turf starts and had serious problems in the lone poor effort. Has the hedge, a stalking style, and Rosario takes the re-ride.
4th pick: #3 (Little Unusual) - One of a pair entered by trainer Barry Abrams and the two fillies will run as separate interests. Very wide last out in a sprint, she'll stretch back out in distance and get a big rider change to "P.Val".
