Top pick: #3 (THREE BLONDES) (5-2) - The probable favorite, veteran maiden has finished second in three of four since returning from a very long layoff (17 months) in early June. Speed/stalker has done so in both starts at this meet and is the horse to beat.
2nd pick: #1 (Susan B Good) (7-2) - Filly was a bit "rank" last out as the favorite and finished almost 5 lengths back of "Three Blondes." Stalker had been much sharper in three straight prior to that and draws the rail. Win candidate.
3rd pick: #5 (Lethal Story) (9-2) - One of two entered by trainer Barry Abrams and this filly has finished third in her last pair. No-speed type is a threat with her best, but the top two selections are more likely to win this.
4th pick: #4 (Veronica Bay) (6-1) - The second of the Abrams pair, she has more speed than her barnmate but needs to do a bit better during the stretch run for anything more than a small slice.
