Bet this race at Diamond SportsTop pick: #8 (TRADIN UP) (3-1) - A $195,000 gelded son of 'Pioneer of the Nile,' he's dropping to a new low following an even effort here going a mile on the turf for a $25K tag July 8. It was his first start since Oct. 26, and he'll be tough to beat in this spot.
2nd pick: #9 (Mr. Cougar) (5-2) - The morning-line favorite, he's been competitive in three straight here facing tougher. Even paced 4yo draws well, drops to a new low, and his outside post will give rider Leslie Mawing early options.
3rd pick: #10 (Bold Proposition) (8-1) - Lightly raced and well-bred, he raced evenly when facing winners here for a $5,000 tag on June 29. Back in with fellow maidens, he can factor, but it's interesting that this 4yo by top sire 'Tapit' wasn't claimed last out.
4th pick: #2 (Mr Pewter) (20-1) - Longshot has been freshened up since a very poor effort following a slow break May 5 at Will Rogers Downs. His best figures suggest that a minor award at a big price is his ceiling.
