In fact his main speed rival may be his uncoupled stablemate, No. 9 Building New Era. Established stakes performer, has met and defeated tougher in the past. A win today would put him over the $500,000 mark which is quite an accomplishment.

(# 9) Building New Era - Huge race second off the layoff, trouncing an optional group over this surface on May 11. Continues his fine AM work on both dirt and grass, so maybe we'll see him on the infield down the line. Draws a nice post for his return to stakes competition.

(# 7) Organizer - He makes his third start of the season and his first against fellow state-breds. Was facing some tough horses in the pair of optionals that started his year. He's proven at this level and track, and the third start of this cycle may produce a huge race.

(# 2) Naughty New Yorker - Is still capable of the big effort now and then, but he's had a problem as to what his racing m.o. is anymore. He shows speed one race, stalks the next, stone-closer in others. This is a tough bunch considering how the top trio shapes up. Minor award seems his best fit.
