Bet this race at Diamond SportsTop pick: #4 (PARTY MINT STAR) (5-1) - Home bred filly finished a distant third following a poor break and a wide trip at this level April 19 at Aqueduct. It was her first since Nov. 5 and she draws a better post and it's apprentice Ayala of and Eric Cancel on. Three-year-old gets a slight edge.
nd pick: #6 (Giant Ending) (3-1) - She's dropping in class, moving from turf to dirt, and cutting back in distance. She had finished second on the dirt in her previous start and is a contender in this spot.
rd pick: #7 (Freudee) (10-1) - Longshot ships from Gulfstream where she tired badly when debuting in a two-turn grass race Feb. 10. Working fast for this attempt, she has a new trainer (Pat Reynolds) and she moves to the dirt and shortens up in distance.
th pick: #11 (Desert Affair) (7-2) - The probable favorite, she's finished second in three straight at this level. Speed/stalker draws a good post and Jose Ortiz stays aboard. An obvious win candidate, but is no lock at a short price.
th pick: #5 (Zeppole) (15-1) - Very wide from a tough post last out, she draws better and gets a rider upgrade to Rajiv Maragh. May get a share at a big price.
