Bet this race at Diamond SportsTop pick: #9 (PIRA) (6-1) - Price play is going turf to dirt and is racing second back of a half-year's absence. She's raced evenly here at this level in both grass sprints and is making back-to-back starts for the first time. Home bred should handle the dirt and filly draws a nice outside post at this seven-furlong trip.
nd pick: #7 (Meatball Madness) (7-2) - Speedy filly is another moving from grass to dirt. She tired last out after being involved in a pace fight while pinned down along the inside. Underrated small barn (John Morrison) has her set for a big shot at the win.
rd pick: #1 (Picco Uno) (2-1) - The morning line and probable favorite, she finished second here at this level going six furlongs April 30. It was a big improvement over her debut March 5 and trainer Jay Servis has her making back-to-back starts for the first time. In the win mix, but no 'lock' at a short price.
th pick: #3 (Lilikoi) (5-1) - Freshened up since March 18, long-time maiden has finished second in three of her last four starts. Four-year-old ran second twice here last year at this level with one of those coming at this trip.
th pick: #2 (Diamond Street) (15-1) - One of two fillies making their debuts, she has some god works and is bred for speed. Small barn (Gregg Matties) has Junior Alvarado signed on and this 3-year-old need not be anything special to factor against this group.
