(# 5) COUNT TOWN - This horse looks like just about everyone else in this race, but upon closer inspection, he really isn't. Making his second start off of a layoff, and with blinkers, he ran a dramatically improved race on Feb. 19. He improved his position rapidly to reach a contending position against a very strong pace that day. He hung in there remarkably well against that strong pace until the stretch, when he finished evenly late. That was a good stamina building effort, and he has been given time to recoup from that taxing effort. Makes his first start for a new barn and lightly-raced runner has a license to improve.
