Moved off the inside to rally with a perfect trip closer and held surprisingly well while clearly second best. Has a license to reproduce that effort, especially if allowed to run early without restrictions.

(# 8) Gentle Touch - Strong second on Jan. 20, in a huge effort. Held well once displaced on the lead, defeating the top pick by thirteen lengths for the place. Question his ability to fire second start back in less than a month. Trained steadily before and after that contest and he is the obvious selection at what figures to be a short price.
